January 2018

Zähringerstrasse 16, 8001 Zürich

The Raclette Stube is a rustic, small restaurant which is specialized on famous Swiss cheese dishes. Here you can get raclette all you can eat or a fondue. There is not much space in the restaurant and it is getting quite loud when the place is packed. According to my taste

it was definitely too much sitting in between all these people. The ambience looks like a grotto in Ticino (south of Switzerland) but it feels warm and a perfect match with cheese. They could improve they way how they serve the cheese, it looks quite simple on the plate (ok, Raclette is a simple kind of meal). Beginning of January they only had a 2 hours reservation slot available to stay in the restaurant. It feels a bit like a rush. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Men's Toilet:

Also the toilets are rustic and older, but everything was well maintained and clean. Well done.
